Day 30: A photo of “after.”

Thanks for it all, Dragon*con! :)) ‘Til next year!!
Day 30: A photo of “after.”

Thanks for it all, Dragon*con! :)) ‘Til next year!!
Day 29: A photo that sums up Dragon*con.

:)) Every one of those blips is a geek, a dragon*conner, a friendly face. This is only one of the hotels. At one point, early in the evening. This barely scrapes the surface of how many amazing people are in one spot for (at least) four days out of the year. Drinking, schmoozing, costuming, getting their nerd on.
And hopefully I’ll be seeing some of you there!! ♥
Day 28: A photo of someone not having a good time.

This Klokateer is not amused at your shenanigans. He’s going to light you on fire … if you’re not having a good time at Dragon*con!! But, really, nobody goes to D*con and doesn’t have a good time— if they do, they’re not doing it right, lol. So, instead, you get a picture of Ryan with the biggest grin on his face— I think. Maybe. Probably. Just go with it.
Day 27: A photo of you in FULL ON DRAGON*CON.

Nothing says Dragon*con to me more than being drunk and wearing a Boba Fett helmet. So. There you have it. :)) I’m sure there will be plenty more of this in the next upcoming weekend!! ♥
Day 26: Group photo of you and your friends at Dragon*con.

This counts. :)) The Dethklok panel at Dragon*con 2010!! Absolutely fabulous group of people, awesome Metalocalypse goodness, greatest panel of all-time, lots of booze, and pizza. Did I mention there’s awesomeness? Because there’s a lot of that.
Day 25: A photo of someone who has had too much Dragon*con.

(Photo by Jesse Nobles Cosplay Photography! ♥)
So Pickles, Toki, and a mermaid walk into a bar …. I just think this picture’s so cute. And so typically us late into the evening … or early into the morning, whatever you prefer. ;)) Keep on truckin’, kids!
So, to that, I say: too much Dragon*con … or not enough?! ♥
Day 24: A NOT very attractive person you’ve seen at Dragon*con.

(Photo by wiebke of Livejournal! ♥)
This is a fairly rude entry of this meme so I decided that you all can look at this NOT very attractive Dragon*con hotel carpet instead. ;))
Day 23: A very attractive person you’ve seen at Dragon*con.

I’d put a picture of Marty here but he hasn’t been to D*con so instead ;)) ….
Why, the Dread Pirate Roberts! :)) We were convinced it was really him, lol. And he was charming and sweet and extremely attractive. Emily and I had a tiny freak out when we saw him from a distance and then politely asked for his picture and were -not- disappointed with the results. ♥
Day 22: Coolest thing you ever bought at Dragon*con.

ALCOHOL! :D
Okay, I’m half-kidding. The thing is … I don’t tend to buy anything at Dragon*con :x if I ever see anything cool in the dealers’ room, I’ll usually take a business card and order it at a later date— if it sticks in my mind. This prevents me from doing the spontaneous money-spending that I know I do so well! More often than not, the coolest things I’ve gotten at Dragon*con, I’ve gotten for free.
… including, sometimes, alcohol! lol
Day 21: One of your favourite Dragon*con photos taken by someone else.

(Photo by ljinto of Flickr! ♥)
This continues to be one of my favourite photos from the “army of Amys” photoshoot during Dragon*con 2010. :)) Instead of being a proper “Amy Pond,” I decided to go with being little Amelia— her seven-year-old self from the season five episode, ‘The Big Bang.’ ♥ The rest of the pictures are absolutely fabulous, and our two Doctors (Eleven and Ten) were such a wonderful addition!!
Day 20: A costume you’re tired of seeing at Dragon*con.

I find this one a little silly considering I don’t understand how one can be “tired of” something that doesn’t really affect them, but. Regardless— I have nothing for this! I’ve never gone to a Dragon*con and felt like I’ve seen “too many” of a costume … everybody’s is unique and has something to add, even if they’re a repeat of a character I’ve already seen. I like to think that they’re not cosplaying to impress us, but because they love the character and the costume and the fandom and want to represent something they adore. :)) So who am I to complain? Pass me another drink and let’s keep walkin’ around! lol
Day 19: What 3am at Dragon*con looks like for you.

I doubt I need to provide a lot of explanation ;)) partying, drinking, losing clothing, and hanging out with Dethklok. That’s pretty much 3am at least once for me during Dragon*con, and I doubt this year will be much of an exception for that, lol. ♥
Day 18: An artpiece by an artist you love at Dragon*con.

One of my all-time favourite artists is J. Scott Campbell, and this is one of my favourite pieces!! I may be a little biased in my love of Spider-man and Black Cat, but … hey, the question didn’t say you couldn’t be biased. ;)) ♥ Also a costume I would love to be able to do one day.
Day 17: Favourite costume of yours that you did at Dragon*con.

(Photo taken by Emily! ♥)
Keeping in mind that I’m really not a cosplayer/costumer, the only real one that comes to mind is Ramona Flowers :)) mostly because it was entirely out of my closet! The hammer was made by my old roommate Mike, and the trademark purse was made by Joanie! So the tough parts weren’t even done by me, but this costume’s the closest I can get for this category, lol. And it was VERY fun!!
Day 16: A photo of you and your roomies from one year of Dragon*con.

The girls: Emily, Kat, myself! The boys: Luke, Fishy, Vincent, Jose!
(There wasn’t a picture of all of us together, but we did end up taking these two pictures outside of our hotel room so I just smushed ‘em together into one, lol.)
This was a very fun year, Dragon*con 2009—one of my favourites—mostly because of us exploring the con as a group and taking a lot of random pictures! Great memories, lots of drinking, lots of shenanigans, lots of costumes, etc. These kinda things make me look very much forward to this year!! ♥
